Apple pie with slivered almonds

Apple tart with slivered almonds, a delicious classic that is always a great success, here is how to make it easily at home.


For the cake:

  • 180 g ground almonds
  • 2 apples
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground nutmeg
  • 3 eggs
  • 25 g of honey
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

For garnish:

  • 110 g of sugar
  • 2 tablespoon of honey
  • 3 tablespoon of almond milk
  • 30 g tapered almonds


First heat your oven to 180 °, butter a pie pan, peel and cut the apples in small dice.
Then mix the powdered almond with cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in a salad bowl and make a well in the center.
Then add the eggs, honey and oil and mix everything by hand to have a paste.
Add the apple pieces and continue mixing by hand.
Pour your mixture into the baking pan and bake for 30 minutes.

During the cooking time mix the sugar with honey and almond milk in a salad bowl with your whisk and set aside.
Grill the slivered almonds in a frying pan over medium heat while stirring, leave to brown for 4 to 5 minutes then set aside.
At the end of cooking let your cake cool for 6 minutes, spread over your frosting and sprinkle it with the roasted almonds.
Finally here is your apple pie and almond slices, cut and serve.
