5 tips not to let lack of self-love hurt your romantic relationship

Many romantic relationships take an uncomfortable turn often by the lack of enough self-love.  here are 5 tips to not let this lack of self-love hurt your couple.

1 – Perfectionism

Some people find it hard to accept that they are not perfect in their world map. If you find yourself being perfectionist or feeling negative about yourself because you think you’re not on top, follow three simple steps. Stop following your current line of thought, focus on the efforts needed to reach your goal, and then put those efforts into action.

2 – Negative thoughts

Don’t get into the bad habit of focusing only on the bad things in your life. Staying focused on uncomfortable events can make these events overly important. If you find yourself complaining that you are just having bad experiences, look for the positive in these feedbacks.

3 – Never insult yourself

By insulting yourself, you lose your quality of being human and you are reduced to a single element linked to something that you do not like at home.

4 – Reward yourself

This is the fun part when you love yourself: you can reward yourself! If you have achieved something significant, treat yourself to a treat: restaurant, book, two days by the sea. Whatever it is. Take a long shower or a bubble bath. Go fishing on your own or treat yourself to a massage.

5 – You are the most important person

You are the person you will live with until the end of your days. Begin, if you haven’t already, to learn more about loving yourself as you are.
