1. He must make an effort to organize meetings. It should not be expected that you will come up with ideas every weekend. From time to time, he has to take you to a new restaurant or a new shop, just because he thinks you will like it.
2. He must make an effort to respond to your messages. And he must remember to tell you where he is and what he is doing. It is the easiest way to build a relationship of trust. If he opens up to you, there is no reason to doubt his words.
3. He must make the effort to flirt with you. It doesn’t matter that you’ve been dating for decades. He should never take love for granted. He must still try to woo you, even if you are already with him.
5. He must make the effort to save his money. If he sincerely wishes to spend the rest of his life with you, he must prepare for the future. He must resist the urge to spend all his money on alcohol and work with you to save for a home.
6. He must make an effort so that you feel like a major part of his life. He has to keep you posted on what’s going on at work. He must invite you to go out with his friends. It must make you feel important.
7. He must make an effort to get along with your friends and family members. Without having to go head to head with your mother, he must treat each person with respect and respect. Even if your father does not agree and is slightly rude, that does not mean that he should be rude in return. He must do his best to make a good impression.
8. He must make an effort to find compromises. If you disagree on a subject, it should not end in a crisis with which the only one of the two comes out satisfied. You must find a solution that benefits each of you. Otherwise, resentment will come.
9. He must make efforts to cook and clean up. You are not his mother. He should not be resting on you so that you do all his chores for him. He has to do as much housework as you.
