I won’t tell you how to love me, but this is what I secretly hope for
Women have always been regarded as mysterious creatures.
Men say that we are never clear about what we are thinking or what we want.
But I’m here for you to let you know that we’re not as complicated as you think. We just have standards.
But since there is a lot of confusion in relationships in the world, I would like to clarify some things about how to love a woman.
I’ve been with my partner for four years now. We’re constantly learning new things about each other, and I love it like that. But sometimes we both feel like we don’t really know how to love each other.
We argue over silly things because unfortunately, we can’t read our minds. So when it comes to love, the first key to a woman’s heart is communication!
I won’t tell you how to love me, but here’s what I’m hoping for deep inside.
Holding back emotions and thoughts only complicates everything. A woman likes to hear what her significant other is thinking or feeling.
Exposing your feelings won’t be considered strange, we are all human, and it is better to see someone break down than someone devoid of emotions.
In the end, a woman just wants her partner to open up a bit and be honest about what’s going on in his head.
Then there is the issue of gifts. A man believes that a girl just wants to be covered with expensive gifts. My boyfriend certainly thought the same.
For my birthday he bought me a bottle of excellent champagne, which he was sure I would appreciate (and of course I liked it). However, we did talk about what I considered the perfect gift.
I told him that even though I was happy that he was spending money on me, I would have been just as happy with a home-cooked dinner and a well-written menu.
Why?
Because ten years later, I won’t remember what made this overpriced champagne so unique. I will remember the card he wrote for our anniversary several months later. I will remember how he left our apartment to buy me flowers and then pretended to pick me up for our date.
In the end, memories are all that matters. I know that the memories that will stay with me are the ones that are the most emotionally charged.
There is one last thing you need to know. When you find someone who is capable of making you laugh or smile, you just want to hang out with the person. You want the person to spend time with you.
You want him to make an effort to call you when you are apart to see how your day has been. You want him to cancel his plans when you are sick to take care of you.
A little bit of someone’s time is one of the most valuable things you can receive from your partner.
